DIY: Flower Pens

Happy Sunday everyone!

Last week I spent the weekend with my roommate from freshmen year, Alyssa and her family  for Easter. And over the weekend she got her bridesmaids, mom and soon to be mother-in-law over together to begin planning her bridal shower and making some of the prizes. One of them which included making these cute pen flowers as decorations and prizes, and since it was the first time I made them I thought I’d share with you how we did it.

Items you will need: artificial flowers, vases of your choosing, pens, scissors, pens, flower tape, clear tape, coffee beans or any kind of beans.

IMG_39491. Begin by cutting the flowers off of the bouquet and tape them to the pen. Be sure to leave a few inches of space between the flower and the pen when taping.
IMG_39602. Use floral tape to tape both the flower and pen together, begin by twisting it from the top and end at the bottom. Make sure you remove the cap before taping it, you can just throw them away because you won’t be needing them.
