Men’s Series: Top 5 Style Websites

Men's Series 2

Yo couch brotatoes – nothing in this life is worse than wasting your sweet time at malls shuffling through racks of “new collection” garbage that you would never wear. We have better things to do like binge on House of Cards, watch some March Madness or download Drake’s new mixtape.

What I’m trying to say here is don’t be that sad soul who wanders aimlessly at Macy’s, J Crew or Target because you had some premonition that you need new clothes. For God’s sake…don’t be that guy who’s girlfriend or MOM buys all his damn clothing. A man knows what he wants and is confident with what he wears.

Spend your time more productively – check out my Top 5 men’s websites to frequent every now and then to snag some new ideas / deals. I’ll be honest, most of the styles I like and adopt are taken from other people who actually have their act together. Take a tip from the sensei’s that already figured it out. Check it!! >>

  1. The GQ Eye
Always viewed GQ as a good measuring stick for men’s style. I mean there’s a reason why the magazine’s so successful. Their blog is a great way to skip the mag’s fluff and is highly relatable to the average guy trying to up his game.
  1. Well Spent
Active blog that features a lot of new brands that could very well be “staples” in a closet. I’m a fan of the High / Low series – pairing high dollar brands with more affordable alternatives.
  1. Men’s Style Pro
I see your post-grad style and raise you a pocket square. Men’s Style Pro gives you great ideas on how to dress like a gentleman while throwing in tips on how to pull off certain items. Check in every once in awhile or dig through their archives.
  1. Valet
Be ready to add to your favorites bar. This website does a great job of posting cool articles that actually keep my attention while focusing mainly on men’s style. Valet is a treasure trove of advice for us guys traversing through life and comes highly recommended.
  1. Dappered
“Fashion is temporary and expensive. Style is timeless and affordable.” *insert prayer hand emoji* This site is ultra useful and should be checked regularly. Dappered is the first to announce online sales (saved me big $$$), has some readable blog pieces and even has freebies every once in awhile. While I’ll admit their UX and web design could use some revamping, these guys are on top of it.

That’s it for now guys. Stop brocrastinating and click on those links. Happy hunting.
