Graduation Actually Happened

 Howdy everyone and happy Friday!

Let me start by saying thank you for your patience these past 2 weeks as I finished finals, got ready for graduation and hosted my mami. But now as promised I’m back and I have several things I’ll  be catching you up on! Everything from events leading up to the big day, my big move back home to Texas in a few weeks and finding a big girl job…eek!

As you can tell I’m a very prideful girl so I made sure I rocked both Mexico and Texas by wearing my Mexican sash and my cowgirl boots 🙂

Well it will be a week since I graduated on Saturday and it still feels like a dream, I still can’t believe that 4 years has flown by as fast as it has. For those of you that know my family, you know that the past 4 years has been A LOT of ups and downs, so being able to celebrate a great accomplishment is something that we needed and haven’t been able to do in a while. I can also say that I fulfilled my dad’s wish and graduated in 4 years as promised!

Of course non of this would have been possible without the love and support from my family, friends, and professors who have always believed in me and pushed to thrive. As the saying goes “it takes a village to raise a child”, I think this fits perfectly with my situation as I know I couldn’t have done it alone. So rather than saying” I Did It! “, its a “We Did It!” and thank you to all who have been apart of this journey with me.

IMG_7802A special thank you to my 2 besties who I can say have become like my sisters over the past 4 years for taking being my photographers for the day. I’m so grateful to have the both of them in my life and don’t know how I would have survived college without them, love you girls!
