Happy Friday everyone!

This is my second year doing a local St. Louis gift guide and let me tell ya it never stops to amaze me how many great brands we have in this city. I love getting to discover  and share all the local brands that are doing amazing things in the community and that I truly believe you should consider shopping local for this holiday season as the shops in town have everything you need for everyone on your list. So without further ado here is my 2018 St. Louis gift guide and a little more about the great brands you see here!

LARK Skin Co– Roughly three years later, while on a trip to California with her husband, LARK Skin Co. was born. While she considered myself a wannabe minimalist, she truly believed in the power of simpler living. By using simpler (and less!) products we can save time and energy to focus on the important things in life.

Their mission is to make being a minimalist easy with simple and effective organic skin, hair and body products. We hope you try them and fall in love for yourself!

Route– At Roūte we believe each person can be empowered to make change through ethical purchasing. As you get to know us, follow the map on each product page to see the Roūte each product takes to get from maker to Missouri. We  work hard to find products that are not only ethically made, but also fashionable.

As you invest in ethically produced pieces there will be less slavery, more children in school and out of the workforce, and fewer deaths from unsafe working conditions.

Arch Apparel– On a personal search to represent the city he had come to live in, Aaron create Arch Apparel. Arch Apparel is more than a St. Louis clothing brand it’s a vehicle to highlight creative we have in our city. It has allowed people to throw on a shirt that says “St. Louis” and wear it with pride as they explore the city and all its glories.

Snow Leopard Vodka– Snow Leopard Vodka is the creation of entrepreneur and philanthropist Stephen Sparrow. After learning of the plight of the critically endangered Snow Leopard and the hardships facing the local communities who share their home range, Stephen wanted to do something to help. He set out to create a product and brand that mirrored the beauty and majesty of its namesake which would have the potential to save the snow leopard from extinction while improving the livelihoods of herder families living on the fringes of the world. Snow Leopard Vodka was the result, a spelt grain Vodka handcrafted in Poland, with 15% of all profits from the brand donated to the Snow Leopard Trust.

Detalle Boutique– We are a family locally owned small women’s clothing boutique. We carry a little bit of everything while trying to be affordable and understanding that women come in all shapes and sizes and we are happy that are able to carry more expanded size range including plus sizes.

I hope this helped you discover a few new brands that you might have not known were local and that this can help you finish any last minute holiday shopping you may need to do by supporting these local businesses!

A very big thank you for all the brands who collaborated with me this year to help bring my post to life.
